This fantastic piece of technology allows your boat to go upto 50% faster onto the plane, 25% reduction in creep speed, reduced engine noise and vibration, decreased smoke and emissions, as well as lower running costs.

What’s more, StepDrive’s reduction gear minimises inertia loading as the drive is engaged, significantly extending the life of the driveleg’s forward / reverse clutch.

An increase in top speed can usually be achieved by changing propeller size.
StepDrive overcomes the compromise on propeller choice dictated by the need to reach the plane, and achieve the best top speed.
